Ginza district is one of the special places to go in Japan. It is the upscale area and it is full of elegant cafes, designer boutiques, dining restaurants and department stores.

Apart from art galleries, it has the largest fish market in Asia as well. The Sony building is a marvel to watch.

The Tokyo National Museum (TNM) is located in Ueno Park in Taito. It is one of the largest and oldest museums in Japan. The museum is supposed to be holding 110,000 objects. This consists of Japanese national treasure and cultural properties of importance. Apart from Asian art, Japanese art, Greco-Buddhist art is also there.

It gives all the information in Japanese, English, Chinese, German, Korean, French and Spanish. The Museum was established in 1872.
There are five galleries in the museum. The first is the Honkan which is the Japanese Gallery. The second is Toyokan which is the Asian Gallery. The third is Hyokeikan which has the Western style architecture during the Meiji rule. The fourth is Heiseikan which has Japanese Archaeology and special place for exhibitions.
The last one is the Gallery of Horyu-ji-Treasures.

Tokyo tower is located in Shiba park, Minato, Tokyo. It is a tower for communications and observations. Its height is 332.5 meters. The tower is the second tallest structure in Japan. It has been influenced by Eiffel Tower.
The tower was built in 1958. Under the tower a four storey building can be located. This building houses museums, shops and restaurants. People can go up and visit two observation decks. The first one is situated at a height of 150 meters. The smaller one is located at a height of 250 meters.

The tower was actually intended for radio and TV broadcasting.
4.Tokyo Imperial palace
Tokyo Imperial palace is a historical place and is the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan. The palace is located close to Tokyo station, in a large park area called Chiyoda in Tokyo. It contains the main palace, several buildings, museum, an archive and administrative buildings.
